There are a lot of messages that the reader is trying to tell you in this story.  For example:  People should make better choices and not drink and drive. Another example is that depression is hard to deal with.

 

The author was able to prove in this book that it's not easy to get over making poor choices. You will probably feel the guilt of your choice,  but at the end of the day its a challenge that you have to face.

 

Andy made a very  bad choice by deciding to drink and drive.  Keisha's choice to  break up with Andy and leave him during his time of need was also a very bad decision. She decided to break up with someone who really needed her and who

really needed someone to talk to about the depression and guilt built up inside of him.

 

Everyone is going to make a bad decision in their life and not only will it change your life, it may imact others in a good way or a bad way. So stop and think about the choices you make.....Will this change me in a good way or have awful consequences?
